Ann H. Reid

Ann H. Reid passed away peacefully the evening of Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the age of 80. She was born in Tampa, FL to the late Tucker and Bertha Hood. Ann graduated from Plant High School in 1960 and subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Mercer University and a Master of Science in Education degree from Georgia Southwestern State University. She was an elementary school teacher in the Georgia educational system for over thirty years.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Gully McCrorey (Rob) of Huntersville, NC; son Brandt Gully (Cheryl) of Marietta, GA; son Rick Gully of Greenville, SC and seven grandchildren: Caroline McCrorey, Peyton Gully, Anna Gully, Samantha Gully, Emma Gully, Richard Gully and Thomas Gully.

Her family is deeply grateful for the loving care she received from her caregivers, Wendy Williams and Brenda Crayton, over the past two years.

No memorial service has been planned at this time, but the family will notify loved ones in the future when one is scheduled. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to The Heart of Georgia Humane Society or Atrium Health Navicent Hospice Pine Pointe.
