Brenda Gail Steiger

Brenda Gail Steiger, age 51, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, in Macon, Georgia. Born on May 5, 1973, in Bartow, Florida, Brenda brought light, laughter, and boundless love to everyone who had the joy of knowing her.

Brenda was a devoted mother, a proud nana and a loving partner. Her infectious smile, and warm heart left a lasting impression wherever she went. To know Brenda was to love her.

She is survived by her beloved partner, Jerel Hagans; her daughter, Kristan Clark (husband Johnathan Clark); her son, David Steiger Jr; granddaughters Brinlee Clark, Marlee Clark, and Lena Steiger; grandson Waylon Turner; her mom, Lorraine Kitchens; her sisters, Tabitha and Christy; brother, Tony and a host of other cherished family members and dear friends.

Brenda took great pride in her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She was a source of strength, comfort, and unwavering support. Her family will remember her as an amazing mom and nana who always made life brighter, sweeter and a whole lot more fun.

She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the laughter of her grandchildren, the memories and the stories with her that will be told for years to come.

A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at a later date, where friends and family will gather to share memories, tears, and laughter—just as she would have wanted.
