George Beverly Sheldon

George Beverly Sheldon, 80, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at his home in Macon, Georgia. Mr. Sheldon was born on May 10, 1942, in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Eugene and Norma Stemm Sheldon.

Mr. Sheldon was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired after working 30 years for Brown and Williamson Corporation, during which time he moved in 1980 from Louisville, Kentucky to Macon Georgia.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marilyn Sue McCullum Sheldon of Macon; son, Mark Sheldon (Tonya) of Gray, grandchildren, Austin Dugger and Abigayle Sheldon; sister, Donna Sue Medley (Fonzy) of New Albany, Indiana; brother, Gary Sheldon (Helen) of Borden, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
