John “Jonesy” Ernest Jones

John Earnest “Jonesy” Jones, passed away peacefully at Atrium Health Navicent Hospice Pine Pointe in Macon, GA on June 3rd, 2022. He went to be with our Lord at the age of 41. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his children, Johanna Jones, Dylan Wood and Isabella Jones. His Grandchildren Noah and Matthew Chapman. His Mother and Stepfather Barbara Cromeenes and Lee Carr. Also, his siblings, his Brother Paul Jones Peel and his husband Charles Robert Peel, his stepsisters Tammy Thompson and her husband Lee Thompson and Cassandra “Cassie” Carr.

John is also survived by many loving Aunts Uncles and Cousins.

John was predeceased by his grandmother “Nana” Carole Ham Seymour and Earnest John Ham.

Memorial Service will commence on / or around his birthday August 2022 details will be posted on facebook at a later date.

John was born in Rochester, NH on August 19th, 1980, to Barbara (Jones) Cromeenes and Paul Jones. He attended Farmington High School, and thereafter worked in construction for many years. John moved to Macon, GA in 2016 and lived on Tyler Drive with his long-term Girlfriend Amy Haines DeFalco. John was a caring and loving Son, Brother, Father, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and encountered him. He was an animal friend and lover. He was a parent to many pets throughout his lifetime. John loved the outdoors, Landscaping and working with his hands. From automobiles to bicycles, tinkering was his favorite past-time. John’s favorite sayings “its green its green its green on Wednesday”
