John Kenneth “Kenny” Mcneil

February 10, 1971 — June 7, 2025

Bonaire

The family of John Kenneth “Kenny” McNeil is deeply sorrowed to announce his passing on June 7, 2025.

Kenny was a Marine veteran having served our country during 1990 to 1993. He was a proud husband of 31 years and devoted father to his 3 kids. Kenny recently became a grandfather to Caroline, whom he cherished. Many knew Kenny through his years in Valdosta, Georgia where he actively helped in numerous ways through cooking for events or driving a bus for his children’s extracurriculars. When you were around Kenny, you would be embraced by his quick-witted nature and surrounded by the sound of his favorite bluegrass country music. Despite his hard shell, he was a compassionate man to his family and friends.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jennifer; children: Kaitlyn (J.L.) Thompson, Brianna (Brody) Roberts, and Conway; grandchild: Caroline Roberts; siblings: James (Angie) McNeil, Mary Huntsman, Naomi (Terry) Hendricks, and Rebecca (Barnie) Abbott; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents William and Avis McNeil.
