Joyce W. Thigpen

On October 14, 2020, Joyce W. Thigpen of Macon passed away at age 92. Joyce was born on November 21, 1927 in Telfair county to the late Thomas Allen and Atha Bedgood Thigpen. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Harold Thigpen, Emily Freeman, Geneva McElhenney, Mary Revels, and her twin brother, John Thigpen. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Joyce’s greatest joy was being around her family. She loved animals, traveling, and reading. She will be remembered by her quick wit, mischievous spirit, and loving heart.

Due to Covid-19, there will be a memorial service at a later date. Burial will be private.
