Lee Edward Bracewell

Memorial services for Lee Edward Bracewell of Twiggs County will be held at Abundant Life Church, 363 Hwy. 49 West, Milledgeville, on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at 4PM. Lee was found in his bed Friday, September 27, 2024, having apparently died in his sleep. No meal will be provided at his Memorial Service, but everyone is invited instead to attend Lee's Birthday Bash on November 2, 2024, at 4PM. The Birthday Bash will be held at Lee's brother's house, Wendell H. Bracewell, located at 1071 Possum Hollow Road, Dry Branch, Georgia, 31020. The road is paved all the way to the driveway.

Lee was the biological son of the late William Joseph Burch, aka B.J. Burch, the adopted son of the late Wendell Lyman Bracewell, and stepson to the late Bartley Stevens Freeman. His survivors include his mother, Brenda A. "Bunny" Freeman, sister, Sue Burch, brothers Nathan T. Bracewell, Wendell H. (Elizebeth) Bracewell, and Glen Alan Bracewell. Lee was never married and had no children of his own, but he did have numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his Aunt Judy (Johnny) James, Aunt Dona Schaeffer, and uncle, Bart (Janine) Brock.

Lee spent his early years mostly in Macon, and his later years in Twiggs County. Lee was proud of having served briefly in the Navy after having passed basic training at Great Lakes, Illinois. He was fond of his motorcycles and was involved with several biker clubs. He also loved buffets, playing his guitar, and playing Santa Claus. He was employed by Mason & Mason of McIntyre as a truck driver.

In lieu of flowers, donations to his funeral expenses will be appreciated. Donations can be sent to his brother at the above address, and he will see that they go to the proper authorities.
