Nancy Olaizola Rosa, born November 9, 1951, in Manhattan, NY, peacefully passed away on July 25, 2024, in Macon, Georgia. She is survived by her loving daughter, Nancy Coker, and devoted son, Hector Castro. Nancy also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren: Camila Zoe, Brandon, Caleb, and Isabella. Nancy dedicated her life to the service of others. She was a passionate teacher and a compassionate chaplain, touching the lives of many throughout her career until her retirement at 60. Her commitment to education and spiritual guidance impacted countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark on her community. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Nancy was known for her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering faith. She nurtured deep bonds with her family and friends, always offering support and encouragement. Nancy's presence brought warmth and comfort to those around her, and her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association ( www.alz.org ), in honor of Nancy's life. Nancy Olaizola Rosa will be profoundly missed but forever remembered for her loving spirit and enduring legacy of compassion.
