Phyllis Jeanelle Gore Garner

Phyllis Jeanelle Gore Garner, 72, of Forsyth, Georgia, passed away on March 27, 2026.

Phyllis was born on December 9, 1953, in Monroe County and graduated from Mary Persons High School. She worked as a CNA in private care for many years. She loved to play the piano and sing in church. She sang at many churches around the state.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Garner; son, Phillip Joshua Treadwell; father, Ralph C. Gore Sr.; mother, Mary Joyce Kitchens Gore; and brother, Ralph C. Gore Jr.

Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her son, Richard Wayne Treadwell; grandson, J. Reese Treadwell; siblings: Debora Gore Ballenger (W.A.), Samuel Gore Sr. (LaVaughn), and Brenda Gore Starns (Chuck); and many nieces and nephews.
