Robert Mcclendon

Robert McClendon, 66, of Macon Georgia, formerly from Grand Forks, North Dakota, passed away after a long illness on Monday, September 2, 2024.

Loving son of the late retired SMSgt Edward D McClendon, and Catherine A McClendon, Robert was born in the United Kingdom on August 12, 1958. He attended Central High School in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He worked for many years as a painter and in construction in North Dakota and Minnesota. Robert was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing in the Lake Mille Lacs, MN area.

He is the devoted brother of three surviving siblings; Roland McClendon of Dublin Georgia, Raymond McClendon of Macon Georgia, and Francine McClendon of Grand Forks North Dakota. Robert is also survived by his nephew Samuel McClendon of Macon GA.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his beloved sister-in-law, Aminda McClendon and his dear uncle, Teotha McClendon.

Robert McClendon also known as "Bob" was a big supporter of children's charities. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to please make any donations in his memory to the children's charity of your choosing. There will be no services.
