Stephen Anglen

Stephen Mark Anglen passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026, in Macon, GA. Stephen was born in Omaha, NE on April 1, 1955, the eldest son of Tracy and Bonnie Anglen. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Anglen, as well as his sister, Tracy Renick (Tom) and brother Michael Anglen (Mara); as well as his nieces and nephews: Sarah (Jacob) Yarborough, Chris (Carrie) Renick, Samuel (Nicole) Anglen, Valerie Anglen and Luke Klasfeld.

Stephen’s family moved from Omaha to South Florida when he was a child. He graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL with a degree in Business Marketing Management and later lived in Deerfield Beach until he met his wife Susan at a Bible study in Boca Raton. The couple married on August 27, 1988, and moved to Valdosta, GA. They later moved to Macon, GA in 2001. Stephen started working for Southern Bell (which later became AT&T) shortly after moving to Valdosta and retired from that company after 32 years of faithful service during which he never called in sick.

Stephen loved his Lord Jesus, his Country and his family dearly and was loved by many friends and family. He helped with the backpack ministry at his church and was known for his kindness to strangers. Stephen was part Muscogee Creek Indian and that heritage was very important to him and his family.
