Thomas "Michael" Roland

Thomas “Michael” Roland, age 62, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on December 15, 2025. He was born on February 7, 1963.

Michael was well known throughout Middle Georgia as a talented painter, recognized for his craftsmanship and dedication to his work.

He deeply loved his family and grandchildren. Outside of work, Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially at his sister Teresa’s, which was his favorite place. One of his favorite pastimes was drinking beer and watching NASCAR with his brothers, Rodney and Darrell. Those who knew Michael remember him as someone who lived simply and followed his own path.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandmother, Leccie Roland; his mother, Florine McDaniels; and his father, Thomas “Tommy” Roland.

He is survived by his children, Ashley Roland, Christopher Roland, Thomas Roland Jr., and Christin Parker; his grandchildren, Kennedy Roland; Isley and Hendrix Roland; and Seth Hayes and Jaylin Parker; his sister, Teresa Brown (Scott); and his brothers, Rodney Roland (Dee) and Darrell Roland (Sheryl).

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
