Wanda June Renfroe

Wanda June Renfroe, age 77, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 12, 2026, in Byron, Georgia.

June was born on June 1, 1949, in Hokes Bluff, Alabama, to Charles Marion Crane and Maybell Crane. She grew up in a close-knit family and carried that love for family with her throughout her life. She graduated from Hokes Bluff High School in 1967 and went on to build a dedicated career, retiring from Robins Air Force Base as an electronics technician.

June was a woman who truly loved being surrounded by the people she cared about most. Whether she was traveling with her family, sitting down to watch a good movie, or laughing over games together, those moments meant everything to her. She had a special gift in the kitchen and was known as a wonderful cook, always making sure no one left her table hungry. She also enjoyed reading and had a fun, competitive side when it came to her poker tournaments.

Above all, June will be remembered for her loving heart, her strong devotion to her family, and the joy she brought into every room. She cherished her children and grandchildren and found her greatest happiness in the time they spent together.

June is survived by her son, Jason Renfroe; her grandchildren, Macee Smith, Olivia Renfroe, and Dalton Renfroe; and her siblings, Betty Bradley, Faye Dunston, Kathy Ellzey, Connie Simonton, and David Crane.

She was welcomed into heaven by her parents; her daughter, Christy Crane; her son, Wesley Renfroe; and her siblings, Charles Crane, Grady Crane, Carl Crane, Johnny Crane, and Jerry Crane.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and knew her best.

A memorial service will be held on June 20, 2026, at 1:00 PM (Central Time) at Lebanon Church of Christ, 2610 County Road 6, Piedmont, Alabama 36272.
