On the early morning of June 28, 2022, Shirley Garmon, gained her Angel Wings.
Her and her Husband have recently moved to High Falls from Lakeland, Florida, to be back home in Georgia, and closer to their Children and Grandchildren. Shirley was born March 21, 1953, and raised in Rayne, Louisiana (Parents, Caesar Barbier and Gertrude Leger Barbier) and was very proud of her French Cajun Language and Heritage. She was a very loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Friend and Wife. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, birdwatching, needlework, and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Bookkeeper by trade, she was an award-winning cook, and the Founder/Owner of the Former "Barbier's Taste of Louisiana" Cajun Restaurant in Greensboro.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Ray "Tony" Garmon; daughter, Elizabeth Constantin; sons, Jacob Constantin (Carol), and Arthur Constantin; many grandchildren, sisters and brothers.
Her private wishes were for cremation, without Public viewing or memorial.
Many THANKS go to Pine Pointe Hospice Facility in Macon, and Prayers for the Family are GREATLY APPRECIATED.
