Starla Marie (Morris) Dingler

Starla Marie (Morris) Dingler departed life on December 20th, 2022, at the age of sixty-four. She was a wonderful mother and a beloved member of the community who left a lasting impression on everyone who met her.

Starla was born June 1, 1958, to Sybil and Jack Morris in Dothan, Alabama. Starla attended school in Brunswick, GA and went to work for Atlantic Southeast Airlines in 1982 in the company's first class of Flight Attendants. She served as the Supervisor and Lead Flight Attendant until she left to work for Delta Airlines in 1989, where she proudly flew for more than 30 years.

Starla loved spending time with friends and family. She had a lifelong passion for music and singing which led to two of her favorite past-times of Karaoke and Singo. She was an Avid Florida Gators and Atlanta Falcons football fan and loved to attend games. She is also a Hall of Fame member of the Big Henry Charity Golf Classic, who was always happy to help with charity, wedding, and event planning.

Starla was mostly known as a “Collector of Strays”. Animals or people, if you needed a meal, a place to sleep or a friend, she was always there. She genuinely found enjoyment in helping.

Starla is survived by her son, Dex Dingler and daughter-in-law Chelsey; her beloved granddaughters, Vivianne and Annabelle. Her sisters, Melora Drury of Brunswick, GA and Tami Howard of Wilsonville, OR, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to the Big Henry Fund, Inc. This is a 501 (C) 3 charitable organization and all donations are tax deductible.
