William "Bill" Joseph Strickland
Obituary
Bill Strickland passed away September 4, 2021 at the age of 88. Little did we know that morning God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.
Bill Strickland was born in Chesapeake, Ohio and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. Bill spent the last 35 years in Macon, Georgia with his wife Linda. Bill is a veteran of the United States Navy where he served during the Korean War. Bill graduated with a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati and worked over 43 years as a Pharmacist in both Ohio and Georgia.
Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years Linda L Strickland of Macon, Georgia. Three children, Michael J Strickland of Houston Texas, Bruce A Strickland of Carrollton, Texas and Pamela L Strickland of Flower Mound, Texas. Five grandchildren, Cortney Woodruff, Kyle Strickland, Alyssa Masters, Jacob Strickland and Rachel Strickland. Three great grandchildren, Grady Woodruff, Gentry Woodruff and Sanford Masters.
