Payment is due at the time of the arrangement and payments can be made online with a credit card.

Our trained, professional staff will transfer your loved into our care one soon after you call us with your immediate need. We will transfer from any location within 35 miles of our location at 765 Cherry St, Macon, GA 31201. Cremation, explained

Cremation is simply the process of reducing the human body to particles and bone fragments using high heat and flame. It is not the final disposition of the remains, nor is it a type of funeral service. Depending on weight, cremation itself takes from two to three hours.

Afterwards, what remains are bone fragments, which are then processed to a consistent size resembling coarse sand and ranging in color from white to gray. The remains weigh between four and eight pounds, and they will be placed into a temporary or permanent urn. Regulations only require a bag or box, but Simply Cremation of Middle Georgia offers a variety of beautiful and affordable urns.

Pick up

When you call or submit the arrangements form, you will specify whether you would like to pick up your loved one’s cremated remains or have them mailed to your home.

For an additional cost of $150, you may instead choose to have your loved one’s remains delivered by Registered Signature Required U.S. Mail.
